You're invited to attend an upcoming Digital Repository Information Session in San Francisco featuring Islandora.
Islandora is an open-source digital repository framework. It will be the focus of multiple sessions in the heart of San Francisco's downtown this February.
discoverygarden, the primary contributor to the Islandora project, will host the information sessions.
Librarian Erin Tripp and Solution Architect Mitch MacKenzie will lead the sessions; providing information such as:
A system overview (Drupal, Solr, Fedora),
How to ingest and manage digital assets,
Configure search tools,
Expose assets to external search services,
Answering your questions, and
Providing cases studies on California institutions already using Islandora.
