Islandora Webinar: Harvesting to DPLA and other Aggregators

Islandora Webinar: Harvesting to DPLA and other Aggregators

You're invited to attend our webinar: 'Harvesting to DPLA and other Aggregators' on Tuesday November 10 at 2pm EDT.

Are you curious about what it takes to contribute content from Islandora collections to the Digital Public Library of America (DPLA)? If yes, join us for our next webinar: Harvesting to DPLA and other Aggregators. We'll be joined by Anne Karle-Zenith and Chris Stanton of the Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO).

METRO’s Digital Culture of Metropolitan New York (DCMNY) site is an Islandora digital repository for METRO members, which also serves as an on-ramp to DPLA. In addition, METRO administers the Empire State Digital Network, the service hub for the state of New York. It harvests metadata from DCMNY as well as other Islandora digital repositories around the state to contribute to DPLA.

We look forward to discussing the project and the process of harvesting to aggregators in general. In the meantime, please visit our website which features a blog post on METRO's Islandora repository.

Warmest regards,
