Join us for the "Hello Islandora: Building a Digital Repository" event at The New York Academy of Medicine.
Structured as a two-part event, the morning panel discussion explores the resources leveraged, challenges faced, and impacts of repository projects at Barnard College, the Metropolitan New York Library Council, The New York Academy of Medicine, and the New York Historical Society.
The afternoon session features a training session catered to participants’ curiosities. Training topics include management of research data, special collections and institutional repositories; batch ingesting; discovery tools; embargoing content; harvesting to DPLA; and more! Training will be led by Erin Tripp of discoverygarden inc., who has managed more than 40 Islandora digital repository projects.
Space is limited. Register now and join professionals from more than 10 organizations representing research universities, historical societies, geoscience, medicine and more!
We look forward to seeing you there!
